As we face this new era of "Change" we have seem to have fallen back to pre-9/11 mentality by our liberal counterparts. I guess the loss of 3000 Americans civilians on that fateful day was forgotten. But for true Americans, true patriots and those that love this country, we have not forgotten. We cherish American lives above those of the animals who attacked us with no provocation.

Who do we turn to? Those that serve our nation because they understand the greater good. They have seen the face of evil and know that the precious blood and sweat of our armed forces is all that stands between us and the darkness of Islamic Fascism. We are not fighting Muslim’s; we are fighting an ideology that threatens to destroy our way of life. We must honor or men and women. We must know how to face the enemy and to see it for what it is.

Sen. Barack Obama has made very little effort to supply the voters with any idea of his real policies. To date most of his speeches concentrate on the smoke and mirrors of feelings but little, if any, substance.

There is one area that Obama has made his intentions very clear; U.S. national defense.

The senator, like his liberal colleagues, stands ready to cut our national security to dangerous levels. During a policy speech on national defense, Obama declared the real enemy to America is not North Korea, Moscow, Beijing, Tehran or bin Laden. According to Obama, the U.S. military is the evil that must be destroyed.

“I will cut tens of billions of dollars in wasteful spending. I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems. I will not weaponize space. I will slow our development of future combat systems,” stated Obama.

The implications here are standard fare for left-wing zealots who hate anything military. For example, Obama pledged to cut the national missile defense, calling it “unproven.”  LINK

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."

"However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open." Zebari says.

Though Obama claims the US presence is "illegal," he suddenly remembered that Americans troops were in Iraq within the legal framework of a UN mandate. His advice was that, rather than reach an accord with the "weakened Bush administration," Iraq should seek an extension of the UN mandate. LINK

"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking," Biden said.

"Remember I said it standing here. if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he's gonna have to make some really tough -- I don't know what the decision's gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's gonna happen," Biden continued.

Do we really want a President in office that is this inexperienced? Can we afford it?

Does disdain for the military matter anymore?

If Barack Obama's candidacy is any indication, it does not. Sen. Obama gave a graduation speech at Wesleyan University on Sunday, May 25. In it, he praised students for their public service. He also asked them to forego the business world in favor of careers in public service. "I ask you to seek these opportunities when you leave here, because the future of this country -- your future -- depends on it. At a time when our security and moral standing depend on winning hearts and minds in the forgotten corners of this world, we need more of you to serve abroad. As president, I intend to grow the Foreign Service, double the Peace Corps over the next few years, and engage the young people of other nations in similar programs, so that we work side by side to take on the common challenges that confront all humanity."

Notice anything missing in that list of public service jobs Obama will push?

Spokeswoman denies report; ends up affirming main claim

The Obama campaign issued an angry denial to a report yesterday that the Democratic presidential candidate privately urged Iraqi leaders to delay U.S. troop withdrawals, but the statement essentially confirmed the story.

Here is the original STORY and at the time after I had posted it there was a question regarding the author so I didn't push it. But in this past week Obama's camp did verify it and had tried to wiggle it's way out of if saying that it had been misconstrued. How do you misconstrue the following passages:

WASHINGTON —  The United States has found 500 chemical weapons in Iraq since 2003, and more weapons of mass destruction are likely to be uncovered, two Republican lawmakers said Wednesday.

"We have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, chemical weapons," Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., said in a quickly called press conference late Wednesday afternoon.

Reading from a declassified portion of a report by the National Ground Intelligence Center, a Defense Department intelligence unit, Santorum said: "Since 2003, coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent. Despite many efforts to locate and destroy Iraq's pre-Gulf War chemical munitions, filled and unfilled pre-Gulf War chemical munitions are assessed to still exist."

As a Sitting Senator, he knows all about this. He also knows that he can't talk about it till we are out. This man is nothing more than a lying pig. If he gets elected it will be the fault of the ignorance of the American dumb asses out there. Those that won't look up the facts. Those that will sit there and listen to the liberal media as they try to uncover every little fact about Palin, yet will not ask Obama the manchild about his associations with the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers. How about the born alive act? How about Rev. Wright and the agenda of hating America. And what about ACORN?

What if Barack Obama’s most important radical connection has been hiding in plain sight all along? Obama has had an intimate and long-term association with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (Acorn), the largest radical group in America. If I told you Obama had close ties with MoveOn.org or Code Pink, you’d know what I was talking about. Acorn is at least as radical as these better-known groups, arguably more so. Yet because Acorn works locally, in carefully selected urban areas, its national profile is lower. Acorn likes it that way. And so, I’d wager, does Barack Obama.

These are the people that are the reason why we have the subprime meltdown. Give houses to low income people who can't afford it! Sure just start giving houses away, get rid of credit card debt and student loans. Give it to those that don't earn it, take the money from hard working Americans and those that don't want to apply themselves, lazy asses who don't want to work but feel like it's just find to put their hand out to take from those that earn their damn money. It's all about wealth envy. It's all about hating this country and destroying it from the inside out. This is what the Democratic party now stand for. Anti capatilist, extreme environmentistic, anti American socialists/marxists/communists. You can shove the truth right in thier damn faces and they will never see it. They just sit there and watch and read Main stream media and never look to outside sources. They are ignorant and this country has begun  to have a serious lack of moral values. Don't even thing that his has anything to do with gay people dammit. I know you're thinking that! You'd be surprised at how many Republicans have no problem with gay people. In fact I don't know one who has issues with gay people! Yet another liberal smear.

A while back, radio talk show host Michael Savage brought up the notion that Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama couldn’t pass a background investigation to become an FBI special agent.

 He doesn’t know how right he is.

Sen. Barack Obama wouldn’t pass a routine government background investigation, not only to become an FBI agent, but a police officer as well. If he were a soldier, his background would preclude him from obtaining a security clearance. He wouldn’t even qualify to be a support person in a federal agency, such as secretary, for that matter. His past cocaine usage disqualifies him from being a DEA agent. LINK

It's not just Amir Taheri pushing the Logan Act story. Before he ever went to Iraq, Obama's bragging about his meddling in U.S. foreign policy made the pages of the NY Times:

Among the issues being discussed with the two presidential candidates is the long-term security accord between Iraq and the United States. [Ed.note, because this will become important later: this is the strategic framework agreement referred to later in the post] While the Bush administration would like to see an agreement reached before the summer’s political conventions, Mr. Obama said today that he opposed such a timetable.
